Video dosing is a new program offered by Evergreen Treatment Services to help you reach your recovery goals through use of a smartphone app called Spotlight to help you manage your methadone treatment from your phone.
Spotlight is a free and easy-to-use smartphone app that helps you stay on top of your daily dosing, follow your recovery progress, and stay in touch with your treatment team through chat and video messages.
Video dosing is a virtual way to manage your methadone treatment without going to the clinic, using the Spotlight app. Spotlight lets you record yourself taking your methadone on video using your smartphone or tablet, so that you can dose outside the clinic. The Spotlight app is HIPAA-protected and keeps your information safe and private.

1. Download the Spotlight app
Download the Spotlight app on your smartphone or tablet. You will receive an SMS message with instructions to download the app and set up an account.
2. Record a daily video dosing
Record a daily video of yourself taking your methadone using the app. Make sure to follow dosing steps outlined in the app.
3. Connect with your treatment team
Connect with your treatment team using the in-app chat feature.
4. Stay on track
Stay on track with your methadone treatment and your health goals.
User-friendly Technology
Spotlight is available on Androids and iOS smartphones and tablets and works with limited connectivity.
Dosing Reminders
Daily reminders to take your methadone as prescribed by your treatment team. You can customize these notifications in the app to fit your schedule.
In-app Video and Chat Messaging
Connect with your treatment team on your schedule and outside of typical clinic hours using Spotlight’s in-app video and chat messaging features. Messages are HIPAA-protected to ensure your privacy.
Progress Tracking
View and track your progress in the app and stay on top of your daily dosing.
To participate in video dosing, you need a smartphone with a data plan or good Wi-Fi connection. You also need to be willing and able to use the Spotlight app to record all your take-home doses.Â
Video dosing is a free program and does not require insurance.
