By implementing our MedEngagement program, a Mid-Atlantic health plan achieved improved medication possession and adherence rates, clinical outcomes, and preventative care compliance in a difficult-to-engage population of members with diabetes and hypertension. This application of our solution leveraged video Directly Observed Therapy (video DOT) to enable a significant positive shift in the plan's HEDIS metrics and serves as an effective blueprint for addressing medication nonadherence and improving patient outcomes at scale.
