NIH Awards $1.9M to Project to Help SCD Children Stick to Treatment (BioNews)
This BioNews article highlights our $1.9 million grant from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, received in collaboration with the Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The grant will fund the ADHERE (Applying Directly observed therapy to HydroxyurEa to Realize Effectiveness) study to help children and teenagers living with sickle cell disease improve their health and quality of life through increased adherence to hydroxyurea treatment.
